I am a recently certified TEFL instructor ( Teach English as a Foreign Language). I just came back from Arequipa, Peru and am eager to apply my new skill set. I am fully bilingual, English/ Spanish, and have lived in Puerto Rico, Spain, and Peru, collectively for over 15 years. I am in Vero Beach, Fl , and would be willing to travel as far north as Sebastian and south to Ft. Pierce. I have a B.S.in International Business and Spanish, and would be able to help individuals who are currently studying for their U.S. citizenship,or looking to improve their English skills for professional purposes,or are preparing to enter University. I have also completed courses with Widener University of Delaware, for court interpreters, and have completed 16 hours of orientation for court interpreters / translators, with the Pennsylvania Court System, in Harrisburg, PA. I would be willing to meet at your church or office, or other public space for a meet and greet and free consultation evaluation. I would also be willing to work with small groups on a donation basis. If we could get 4 to 6 people in a group and have each one donate $5 to $10 dollars for a 2 hour class. Groups would be best if they are at same or close comprehension levels for maximum benefit. If we meet at a church I would be willing to donate half of the proceeds to your congregation. A quiet space with a chalkboard or whiteboard would be Ideal or we could meet at a Starbucks or public park. If your first language is other than Spanish I would be able to accommodate you, TEFL training is designed to help all people from all languages.
