We have some friends who are expecting a baby in Nov. It's a little girl, so we figured we'd help them out by giving them the rest of our girls' baby clothes. I'm glad to help them out because she just got out of the Army, and their income will be cut in half basically. I know how that is. But, I'm just a little surprised at how sad it's making me. I guess it just reinforces that we can't have anymore babies. I know I can't hold onto baby clothes that I will never use. That doesn't make any sense. I don't want to become a hoarder, but at the same time, it just makes it seem final. We are officially done with having babies.



I told my DH, "I want my uterus back!" But, I know I couldn't have made any other decision. It was the right thing to do for me, so I just have to keep focusing on the positive side of not having a newborn. For one, we are able to do more fun things with our kids because we aren't tied down with feedings every 2 to 3 hours. I guess it will just take me a few days to get over it. The closet seems so empty! All I have left are a few clothes for my sister's baby, who is very close to Sarah's size, so I don't have much to give her. Well, I just wanted to get that off of my chest.
